WORLD WAR I 'LIBERTY LOAN' POSTERS (2)
Good pair of patriotic World War I Liberty Loan posters, includes: Full-color poster, 20 x 30 in., titled 'OVER THE TOP FOR YOU', showing a kneeling U.S. soldier wrapped in an American flag. The exhortation 'BUY U.S. GOV'T BONDS...THIRD LIBERTY LOAN' appears beneath the title. The bottom edge bears the designation '1-A' and the publication line of the Ketterlinus Company of Philadelphia. 2 in. jagged tear at right edge, repaired with archival tape on the verso. Very good. WITH: Full-color poster, 20 x 30 in., titled 'RING IT AGAIN', showing a depiction of of the Liberty Bell above a crowd of early Americans outside Independence Hall. The bottom edge bears the designation '8-A' and the publication line of Sackett and Wilhelms Corporation of New York. Creases and small chips to the edges, reinforced on the verso with archival tape. Very good.
