Convicted of war crimes. Good content A.L.S. on his personal letterhead, 1p. 4to., Holstein, Mar. 7, 1958. In part: '...my great and interesting archive of my navy and flying history from around the world was bombed in the winter of 1943 and burned. I only have a few items left. Maybe you can use the enclosed pictures...The last time I was in New York was in 1932 as the commander of the [Do-X]...it was as interesting as the Sputnik...' Fine.
