Original and scarce congressional report: 'Investigation of the Pearl Harbor Attack' as issued by the Joint Committee on the Pearl Harbor Attack (Washington D.C.: Government Printing Office), 1946. 492pp. 8vo., evaluating the military base's readiness for the ambush, stating the events of the day of the bombing, examining the diplomatic relations between the United States and Japan in the years before the attack, and providing much more contextual information. The end pages also house three fold-out maps, showing Pearl Harbor and its surrounding area, nearby naval installations, and nearby military divisions. Spine worn, covers dislocated, else very good condition.
