OTTO GUNSCHE
(1917 - 2003) Waffen-SS Sturmbannfuhrer who became Adolf Hitler's personal adjutant and was tasked with overseeing Hitler's cremation towards the end of the war. Captured by Soviets and held until 1956. S.P., 4 x 6 in. sepia., a casual post of Gunsche with Hitler, signed boldly at bottom. Identifying inscription in pencil on the verso, else fine.
