Encased token depicting The Jewish Home and Hospital for the Aged (in New York City), in plastic setting for the occasion of the ground breaking ceremonies of the Sol & Amelia G. Friedman pavilion, 1964. The institute is presently called The New Jewish Home, and it was originally founded in 1848 by Hannah Leo of the B'nai Jeshurun Ladies' Benevolent Society. The pavilion commemorated here was dedicated to its former trustees, the Friedmans; 69 x 95mm.
