A silver Tetradrachm in the name of Alexander III 'the Great', Temnos (ca. 188-170 B.C.E.). Obv.: Head of Herakles facing right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev.: Zeus seated left on throne, holding sceptre. monogram and E above oinochoe within vine tendril in left field. On right, Greek inscription AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ (' Alexander').
