Photo Album of Eretz Israel, titled: "Photoraphies de Terre Sainte", published by Boulos Meo, Jerusalem, late 19th century. 24 photos of Eretz Israel are mounted on the album sheets, mainly of Jerusalem. Photos by the brothers Adelphi and Konstantin Zangaki (active between the years 1880-1890). The photos are annotated in the plates in French and signed. Among the photos: Jaffa and its shore line, streets in Jerusalem, the Jerusalem Citadel, the Wailing Wall, Holy Sepulcher Church, interior of El-Aksa, the Dead Sea, Jericho and more. Average size of photos: 28x22 cm. The album is cloth bound with gold letters. Overall good condition, some of the pages (and photos) are mended with tape.
