Passover Haggadah with the Chid"a's Commentary - Lemberg, 1864
Passover Haggadah with the commentary Simchat HaRegel, by R. Chaim Yosef David Azulai (the Chid”a). Lemberg, Salat press. 1864. [52] leaves, 25 cm.
Several variants of this Haggadah were printed in Lemberg. The numerical value of the year of printing is alluded to on the title page with the words ”Lachazot Be’Noam.” The secular year 1864 is clearly printed. Leaves 13–24 are numbered. All the other leaves are not. It is rare to find a Haggadah like this in such good condition.
In very good condition, with slight damage to the title page.
