Sermon for Shabbat Ha'Gadol 1960 in the handwriting of Rabbi Mordechai Yaffe Shlezinger, Rabbinical Judge of Tel Aviv
3 pages handwritten by Rabbi Mordechai Yaffe Shlezinger on his official stationery. The sermon is beautifully built: it opens with a verse about the exodus from Egypt and continues with the words of the Talmud in the Berachot tractate, a Midrash from Midrash Rabba, a proverb of the Dubner Maggid, the words of the Mechilta and a saying by Rabbi Mordechai Benet. All these are interwoven in a beautiful sermon for Passover.
Rabbi Mordechai Yaffe Shlezinger was rabbinical judge of Eisenstadt. After his immigration to Israel, he served as rabbinical judge of Tel Aviv Jaffa and the rabbi of Chug Chatam Sofer in Tel Aviv.
Size: 24X7 cm.
