1. Yerushat Pleta – Responsa of the Greatest Hungarian Rabbis who Perished in the Holocaust – Budapest, 1946
The book was printed in 1943; however, the page with the names of more than 300 Hungarian rabbis who perished in the Holocuast as well as the title page were printed in 1956, after the war.
It should be noted that some of the rabbis listed as perished, actually survived the Holocaust, among them Rabbi Moshe Arye Friend (the future Gaon Av Beit Din of the Eda Ha'Haredit) who lost his wife and ten children in the Holocaust.
2. Ziknei She'erit Ha'Pleta – Jaffa, 1947
Collection of Talmudic Aggadot with commentary and novellae, in memory of the victims of the Holocaust, written by Rabbi Aharon Rosenfeld, a Holocaust survivor for Hungary, the rabbi of the 'Ziknei Sh'erit Ha'Pleta' Synagogue in Jaffa.
3. Or Yisrael, Munich 1947 – Va'ad Ha'Hatzala
Mussar book written by Rabbi Yisrael Lifkin of Salant.
Condition: Good.
4. Sefer Ha'Yashar – Fernwald Displaced Persons Camp
Mussar book attributed to Rabeni Tam. The book was used by Holocaust survivors at the Fernwald Displaced Persons Camp in Germany. The first pages contain signatures of those Holocaust survivors. 71 pp. Condition: Good. The cover is missing and some of the pages are stained and torn.
