'Danger of death hovering our country from all sides and weapons should not be placed in such a situation' - an important letter from a soldier in the Jewish Brigade

Letter sent by Lawyer Greenzweig during his service as a soldier in the Jewish Brigade, in the midst of World War II - July 1942.

In his letter, he writes about legal aid that he might be able to give his friend on a legal question he posed before him, and writes that he might also be able to assist him without even looking at the law related to Belgian law. Towards the end of the letter, Greenzweig writes: "And here we are, in July, and I promise that I will give you an answer and, sadly, I must reject your offer until the end of the war and the final victory. The danger of death hovering our country on all sides and the weapons should not be placed in such a situation, and if I did it, I would not accept myself ...",  and sign his name.
