* Important letter of greetings from the Chacham Rabbi Moshe Chara"g to the Ktav Sofer's son in honor of his appointment as nasi of the Land of Israel. Safed, 1891.

Letter of greetings in honor of the appointment of Rabbi Yitzchak Yehudah Leib Sofer of Drohobych, son of the Ktav Sofer and grandson of the Chata"m Sofer as nasi of the Land of Israel - head of Kollel Galicia, from the Chacham Rabbi Moshe Chara"g of Safed.

The Chassid Rabbi Moshe Chara"g was one of the most influential figures of the Chassidim of Safed of his time, head and supporter of Kollel Vizhnitz appointed by Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Vizhnitz and the other rabbis of the Vizhnitz dynasty.

He begins with words of greetings with an acrostic at the beginning and the end of Rabbi Yiztchak (Aryeh) [Yehudah Leib]'s name.

After the greetings, Rabbi Moshe complains about the manner of distribution of funds, writing "... are we not to get rid of our debts, as promised by the rebbe of Ścinawa [author of Divrei Yechezkel] by whose word we have done this ..."

Moderate-fine condition. Aging stains. Fold marks. Tiny tears in the folds. Lack in the lower left corner with damage to individual words.


* Letter signed by Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Ber Mintz, emissary of Kollel Chassidim in Safed to Rabbi Nathan Amram, Av Beit Din of Alexandria, Trieste, 1830. In the margins of the letter, after the signature, there is a letter from the renowned emissary, redeemer of Rebbi Yehudah HeChassid's Churvah, Rabbi Avraham Shlomo Zalman Tzoref, emissary of the Perushim of Jerusalem.

Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch requests that funds be sent by the rabbi, the Chassid Rabbi Yekutiel Zalman Leib [head of the Chassidim in Tiberias, disciple of Rabbi Ze'ev wolf of Tarna-Ostrova, confidante of Rabbi Baruch of Mezhibuzh and the Ohev Yisrael of Apta] by Rabbi Ze'ev Wolf of Ostrova, also one of the heads of the Chassidim in Tiberias. The emissary Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch is known from additional sources [refer to Iggerot Pakua"m] but is not mentioned in Ya'ari's book Shluchei Eretz Yisrael.

* Letter from the heads of Kollel Maramures in Safed - to the people of the Maramures region and the suburbs of Munkacs Chust, Rabbi Baruch of Vizhnitz which were under the patronage of Rabbi Baruch of Vizhinitz with respect to the rights of the kollel and the law and matters of this topic. Safed, 1888.

The margins of the letter bear 13 signatures of leaders of the kollel and the kollel's stamp.

* Letter from the attendants, administrators and special individuals - those who pray at the Chernobyl kloiz in Safed. Safed, 1925.

"To our dear honorable brothers ... who follow ... Rabbi Mordechai Mottel and his son Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl." Request for assistance in renovating the kloiz given its unstable roof "and we saw with out very eyes that only in our rebbe's merit have we been saved from any tragedy occurring."
