In good general condition: reasonable age marks. * The Canaanism (The Young Hebrews) is a cultural-ideological movement, believing in the connection between the peoples who lived in the Land of Israel in the second millenium BC, and between the Hebrew people in The Land of Israel in the 20th century, in an attempt to create a new-old culture and disconnect from the Diasporaic-Jewish tradition [1]. The movement was established in 1939, peaked in the Land of Israel in the 1940s, and was influential over political thought, the arts, literature and the intellectual life in the Land of Israel and the State of Israel. The name "Canaanism" was given to the group, somewhat ironically, by Avraham Shlonsky, referring to the Land of Canaan, and its original name was "The Committee for the Unification of the Jewish Youth".
