Julius Jotham-Rothschild (1885-1954), Olive trees, Jerusalem, 1946, watercolor on paper, 23X28.5 cm, signed and dated.
Rothschild came to Palestine in 1906, together with Boris Schatz and Ephraim Moses Lillien, and was the first painting teacher in the Bezalel Academy of Art, which was founded that year.
