Signature of the Maharim Padua (5556-5615), one of the Torah giants of his generation and one of the greatest acharonim, on title page. He served as Rav of Brisk after the passing of Rav A.L. Katzenellenbogen. Of his printed sefarim: "Mekor Mayim Chayim", "Teshuvos Maharim", Ketones Passim" and others. [See more about him in sefer "Raboseinu Shebagolah" volume 2]
In upper left corner is the handwritten signature of his son, Rav Aharon Moshe Padua of Karlin, author of "Beurei Haram" on Midrash Shocher Tov (Warsaw 5625).
Includes the Ran's novellae on Masseches Niddah, "Hasagos HaRazeh" on sefer Baaley Hanefesh by the Raavad and Hilchos Niddah by the Ramban. Also, Responsa of Rav Yeshayahu Bassan, Av Beis Din of ריג'ייו.
