Square map of the surroundings of the Nuremberg, 18.25 x 18.25 in., showing wooded areas, canals, cities, towns, roads, etc., published by the Reichsamt fur Landesaufnahme, the central surveying authority for the Third Reich. When folded, the cover bears a black depiction of the national eagle, a 1:100000 scale, and a purple stamp of the Nuremberg Police Headquarters. The reverse bears the handwritten date, 'April 20, 1945', in blue ink. Some damage at the folds, else fine condition.
