NOTICE OF KNIGHT�S CROSS RECIPIENTS
Printed notice, 1p. 4to., listing the names and ranks of approximately 75 Knight's Cross recipients and approximately 62 German Cross in Gold recipients. The Knight's Cross recipients notably includes MICHAEL WITTMANN (1914-1944), Waffen-SS Panzer ace, known for his actions during the Battle of Villiers-Bocage in June 1944, in which his tank destroyed fourteen enemy tanks, fifteen personnel carriers, and two anti-tank guns within the span of fifteen minutes. The document bears an ornate laurel pattern towards the margins, with a printed depiction of the Knight's Cross and German Cross above the named recipients. Tiny filing holes, else very good.
