PAUL GIESLER
(1895-1945) Nazi party member, a Gauleiter of Westphalia-South and Upper Bavaria. Committed suicide with his wife on April 8, 1945. Quite unusual partly-printed D.S. 1p. legal folio, a Preliminary issue of the War Merit Cross for stenographer Louise Einfeldt in Munich for her role in the "Luftkrieg", July 1944. Boldly signed by Giesler at conclusion. Folds and wrinkled, otherwise very good condition.
