HANS SPEIDEL AND ADOLF HEUSINGER
Fine post-war S.P., 8 x 10 in. b/w, signed by HANS SPEIDEL (1897-1984), German general who served in Russia and notably at Stalingrad, later with Rommel in France, and ADOLF HEUSINGER (1887-1982), German chief of operations of the Army High Command who stood to the right of Hitler during the unsuccessful attempt on his life in 1944, later becoming armed forces chairman for NATO. Both are shown in Bundeswehr generals' uniforms and sign at bottom-right, adding rank. Also signed by THEODOR BLANK (1905-1972), the first postwar Defense Minister of Germany from 1955 to 1956 and Minister of Labor and Social Affairs from 1957 to 1965. Fine.
