ROBERT F. KENNEDY
(1925 - 1968) American politician who successfully managed his brother John's presidential campaign and was later appointed Attorney General. He was assassinated in 1968 while running for president. His signed book, published just one year before his assassination: "To Seek a Newer World" (Garden City, NY: Doubleday & Company), 1967. 223pp. 8vo. in navy blue boards with yellow title. Kennedy signs on the half-title page, with a dedication to RALPH YARBOROUGH (1903-1996), Texas Democratic Senator who led the progressive wing of his party. In full: "For Ralph, With the appreciation and esteem of his friend Bob Kennedy". As additional provenance, a blank page towards the conclusion bears a red stamp, reading: "From The Collection of Senator Ralph W. Yarborough�" Dust jacket slightly worn, else very good to fine.
