ROBERT F. KENNEDY
(1925 - 1968) American politician who successfully managed his brother John's presidential campaign and was later appointed Attorney General. He was assassinated in 1968 while running for president. His signed book: "The Enemy Within" (New York: Harper & Brothers), 1960. 338pp. 8vo. in black boards with gilt title. Kennedy signs on the front flyleaf, with a dedication to RALPH YARBOROUGH (1903-1996), Texas Democratic Senator who led the progressive wing of his party. In full: "For Senator Yarborough, With the admiration and appreciation of his friend Robert Kennedy". As additional provenance, the final blank page bears a red stamp, reading: "From The Collection of Senator Ralph W. Yarborough..." Dust jacket has some ragged edges, else very good to fine.
