Zydow polskich. Oddzial w Krakowie [15] תקציר Contains a testimony about the Bełżec extermination camp by Reder (b. 1881), one of five former prisoners who escaped from Bełżec (only two of them survived to the liberation). Reder's job at the camp was to remove the corpses from the gas chambers and bury them in mass graves. He escaped in November 1942 after being there for four months, and remained in hiding in Lvov until the end of the war. His testimony was taken down after the war by Nella Rost for the Jewish Historical Commission in Kraków and published in 1946. The book contains an introduction by Rost and the testimony of Reder. The second edition includes an introduction by Franciszek Piper (pp. 7-12, 79-83).
