Rocking Equestrian Acrobat Tin Toy
George Brown or Early Merriam Company. Connecticut - 1872 - 6 3/4" L x 6 3/4" T. This is a very exciting and kinetic toy. Red painted cast iron wheels give us a good indication that this toy was made shortly after the close of the Civil War. As the toy is pulled the acrobat and the horse swing gently on the stabilizing fulcrum.
