Classic: Teshuvos MaHarit Zahalon - Mahari Tatz - Venice 1694, First Edition.

A complete copy of Teshuvos R. Yom Tov Zahalon, commonly referred to in the Yeshiva world as the MaHari-Tatz. This first edition was printed in Venice in 1694. Authored by R. Yom Tov Zahalon (1559-1638) and published by his grandson. He was a disciple of the Beis Yosef - R. Yosef Karo, as well as R. Moshe Alshich and R. Moshe of Trani - the Mabit. This work is frequently quoted by many contemporary works studied in the Yeshiva world.

On verso of title page is a beautiful layout of the third temple and some vessels of the Beis HaMikdash. Toward the end of the preface is an additional striking woodcut of similar nature. The publisher notes the reason why these woodcuts were included was in order to beautify the Sefer.

In good-moderate condition. Water stains; minor worming to some leaves, not affecting text. Margins of final three leaves are professionally restored, not affecting text.
