Late Victorian 14k Gem Set Butterfly Brooch
Late Victorian (ca. 1880) butterfly brooch in 14k gold and silver, set with 24 rose cut diamonds, eight rubies and two sapphires, four opal cabochons, two emeralds, and three amethysts. With 14k yellow gold modern locking safety clasp closure with hinged B form to disperse weight.
Height: 39.65 mm x width: 44.63 mm x depth: 12.08 mm. Gross weight: 15.5 grams.
Condition: Condition commensurate with age, light wear, central amethyst loose in setting.
