Cameron Booth "Azurite" Oil Painting 1959-62
Cameron Booth (American, 1892-1980). Large oil on canvas painting titled "Azurite" depicting an abstract composition of bold patches of bright colors, 1959-1962. Initialed along the lower right margin. Signed, titled, and dated along the verso. Signed, titled, and with several dates along the upper right corner of the stretcher along the verso.
Unframed; height: 54 in x width: 72 in. Framed; height: 55 in x width: 73 in x depth: 3 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright and the surface is stable. Along the verso there are a few loose threads along the extreme edge of the canvas, which do not affect the artwork. Light wear to the frame and stretcher.
