Chinese Inside Painted Snuff Bottle w/ Scholars
Chinese inside painted glass snuff bottle depicting two scholars in a garden, one gazing into the distance, the other casting a spell to view a pavilion in the clouds. Bottle marked on both sides with clear elegant calligraphy and seals.
Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985.
Height: 2 3/4 in x width: 2 in x depth: 1 in.
Condition: There are no major cracks or major losses. There are small chips along the top and foot rims. There is a sticker affixed along the underside. Light wear to the amethyst stopper.
