Chinese Inside Painted Snuff Bottle w/ Tigers
Fine Chinese inside painted glass snuff bottle depicting two happy tigers and one snarling tiger in the wild with bamboo and rocks. Signed with three 'seal' marks and a cyclical date mark. With molded mask-form handles along the sides.
Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985.
Height: 3 in x width: 2 in x depth: 1 1/4 in.
Condition: There are no cracks, breaks, or losses. Light wear throughout. There is a sticker affixed along the underside. The stone stopper has broken and the paddle is stuck in the opening of the bottle. The stone can be removed from the paddle. Light wear to the stopper.
