Pair Monumental Sevres Style Cobalt Blue Urns
Pair of monumental French old Paris Sevres style porcelain lidded urns. Each painted with two scenes along either side: one of a partially nude goddess amongst clouds and the other with an idyllic countryside. ese reserves are framed with ornate gilt scrollwork against a cobalt blue (beau bleu) ground. The urns are mounted with gilt bronze ormolu handles and bases.
Height: 49 1/2 in x width: 15 1/2 in x depth: 17 1/2 in.
