Parker Duofold Presidential Gold Fountain Pen Set Display Model. In 1992, Parker added the 18K Presidential Duofold to the existing gold collection (priced at $10,000 USD). There were issues protecting the high-end pen model from disappearing in retail stores, hence the display model was created to reduce theft. It is very rare, and exactly the same as the real pen, except for addition of the word "Metal" - One mark on ballpoint and two on pen. Real gold percentage unspecified, possibly gold-plated. However, nib is marked "18K 750." Top of cap also retains Parker Duofold symbol. Pen has never been used and includes black protection box. Case measures approximately 8-1/2" x 6" x 3"
