Mishpetei Shmuel - responsa on the four parts of the Shulchan Aruch by Rabbi Shmuel Kal'i.
Special title page, something of a title page within a title page, which appears in few books, and additional books by the printer, Zaniti. Especially large table of errata, which is uncharacteristic. The book was printed by the author's son-in-law.
The author, Rabbi Shmuel Kal'i [c. 1500-1585], was one of the leading rabbis of the Balkans. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Binyamin ben Matityah, author of Shu"t Binyamin Ze'ev, and among the leading adjudicators of his generation, to whom questions were sent by various communities.
