An extraordinary letter, from the depths of the pure heart of Rabbi Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss, Av Beit Din of Jerusalem, discussing the obligation to install a generator for Shabbat, and that all expenses incurred for this are considered "Shabbat expenses that are reimbursed."

"...The question was raised whether it is necessary to arrange for a generator for Shabbat.
