 Sefer Chatan Sofer on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, authored by the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Ehrenfeld, the grandson of the renowned Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger.

First Edition. Munkatch, 1878. 2, 49, 147 pages, 32.5 cm.

Signature on the title page of Rabbi Moshe Landsberg (1801 – 1884), a disciple and member of the rabbinical court of the renowned Rabbi Akiva Eiger, one of the greatest judges of Poznań, and a descendant of the author of *Yesod Yosef*. He studied Torah under Rabbi Akiva Eiger until he was appointed as a judge in his court. In the famous photograph of Rabbi Akiva Eiger on the street in Poznań, published in *Igrot Sofrim*, Rabbi Landsberg is seen standing next to his teacher. There are responsa from Rabbi Akiva Eiger addressed to him, and in his own notebook of Torah insights, some teachings he heard from Rabbi Akiva Eiger were published.

The binding is worn and partially detached. A few initial pages are detached. There are age stains, minor wormholes, some tears, and a few minor repairs. Overall, the condition is fair to good.
