A Holy Letter- entirely in the handwriting and signature of the 'Kashau Rebbe', the esteemed Rebbi Raphael Blum, Av Beit Din of Kashau.
The Tzadik Rabbi Raphael Blum, the Rebbe of Kashau of blessed memory [1910-2005], was a distinguished disciple of the famous scholar Rabbi Shaul Brach, Av Beit Din of Kashau. After World War II, he became the Av Beit Din of Kashau in Hungary and later founded the Kashau Hasidic dynasty in the United States.
Rabbi Blum was also known as a miracle worker, with his blessings never returning empty. A particularly auspicious time was during the pure table he held on Purim, and it is known that women who struggled with infertility were blessed by him and conceived. The Skulener Rebbe of blessed memory would often refer especially difficult cases to him.
After the war, he emigrated to the United States, where he established his community and large yeshiva, where he taught Torah and Hasidism to thousands of students. He was great in Torah and piety, an exceptional scholar, a true Hasid, and someone who abstained from worldly pleasures. He was zealous for God's word and His commandments, a deeply God-fearing individual, and regarded as one of the great rabbis and Rebbes of the old generation in the United States. He authored a series of books on the Talmud titled *Birkat Shamayim*, and his teachings are studied in many study halls. He also authored responsa and other works.
Very good condition, with folding creases visible.
