The righteous and holy Rebbi Baruch Asher Twersky (1830-1905), son of the holy Rebbi Aharon of Chernobyl, of blessed memory, and son-in-law of the holy Rebbi Moshe of Karistchev, of blessed memory. In 1892, he was crowned to succeed his father in Chernobyl and also served in the role of his ancestors as 'Nasi of Charity for the Land of Israel.' He was known as a miracle worker throughout the land, and thousands visited his home for advice and blessings.
