In the 1930s Goldman began his professional art studies in Alexandria, Egypt alongside Greek and Italian artists. After spending his early years in Egypt, Goldman immigrated to Israel in 1951 where he continued his studies, however, he then transitioned into Israeli style art. Moreover, with a focus on colorful Israeli landscapes, many of Goldmans works are made of oil on canvas which emphasizes the rich hues of the beautiful country.
