Scottish Sterling Silver 4pcs Tea and Coffee Set By Stewart Dawson & Co, Glasgow, 1910.
Comprising:
Teapot (height: 16cm / 6.3in).
Coffee pot (20.5cm / 8.07in).
Sugar basin (9cm / 3.54in).
Milk jug / creamer (9cm / 3.54in).
Each piece is made in a circular tapering form, chased with Celtic mythical beast borders.
The tea and coffee pots are made with stylized handles with bone isolation, mythical beasts shaped spouts, hinged covers with a concealed hinge.
Each piece is made with two vacant cartouches.
Fully hallmarked for Glasgow, Scotland, dated 1910, maker mark for Stewart Dawson & Co Ltd.
