מחזור כמנהג קארפינטראץ - אמשטרדם תקי"ט / נדיר מאוד

קהילת קארפינטראץ (Carpentras) הייתה קהילה יהודית עתיקה בדרום-מזרח צרפת, בעיר קרפנטרה (Carpentras) שבחבל פרובאנס. הקהילה נוסדה ככל הנראה במאות ה-10 או ה-11, והייתה כפופה בתחילה לבישוף המקומי. במהלך השנים עברה הקהילה תקופות של גירוש, חזרות ורדיפות, אך הצליחה לשמר את קיומה ואת מסורותיה הייחודיות.

הקהילה התאפיינה במנהגים ייחודיים, שהתבטאו בין היתר במחזורים שנדפסו במיוחד עבורה. מחזורי קארפינטראץ, שנדפסו באמשטרדם בשנת תצ"ט (1739), כללו נוסח תפילה ייחודי, המשלב אלמנטים ממנהגי פרובאנס, עם השפעות נוספות. מחזורים אלו משקפים את המורשת התרבותית והדתית של הקהילה, והם מהווים מקור חשוב לחקר מנהגי יהדות פרובאנס.
