Nations Attic Diving Into History auction 2023 features an amazing array of authentic diving helmets from the 1800s into the 21st Century. Antique copper and brass helmets made by AJ Morse, Schrader, John Date, DESCO, Miller Dunn, Morse Diving Equipment, TOA, KIM, and more are included. A very nice selection of early fiberglass diving helmets from the 1960s into the 1980s is also up for bids. Helmets made by General Aquadyne, Miller, Piel, Comex, Kirby Morgan, Swindell, and Joe Savoie are all selling.

Other areas of historic diving equipment include early SCUBA equipment, nautical antiques, rare books, antique diving equipment such as parts, tools, lights, boots, dive suits, radios, ephemera, collectible memorabilia, and diving knives. The auction is rounded out with a collection of US Navy Mark 12 equipment from the 1970s and 1980s.

There are over 240 lots of authentic diving history all selling at no reserve.

US Navy Mark 12 Machined Aluminum Lead Casting Molds
This is a pair of machined aluminum molds to make lead weights. The weights are for the USN Mark 12 coverall pockets. One, the weights would measure 8 inches long and 2 inches wide. The size of the mold itself is 15.5 inches by 10-5/16 inches and 1.5 inches thick. The second the weights would measure 8.25 inches long and 7/8 inches round Tootsie Roll weights. The size of the mold itself is 10 inches by 9.75 inches and 2 inches thick. The combined weight of both is 33 pounds.

All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping is available; however, no ocean freight will be offered on large items. DHL Express is an option for international shipments under 600 pounds via air. Payment via bank wire for customers outside the USA is required. A shipping quote prior to the auction can be provided by emailing your postal code. International bidders are advised that some countries do not allow the importation of knives.
