All items of this auction that were given directly by the Rebbe were thoroughly checked by the auction house to determine who received them from the Rebbe. For most of them, we received additional evidence such as a photograph taken when the item was received and varied authenticity tests.
The recipients' names were obscured in most of the items, at the request of their owners, and will be revealed to the buyers. Copy that had belonged to the Admor Rabbi Asher Yeshaya Rosenbaum Shlita, today, the Admor of Zutshka in Bnei Berak. The Admor Shlita is famed for his Dveikut in the Tanya since his youth and his Niggun for the Admor Hazaken's Mamar (Tanya chapter 41) "והנה ה' ניצב עליו..." is well-known.
