Letter with Chidushei Torah and Guidance for the Study of the Torah - Handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Giffer the Rosh Yeshiva of Telz - Detroit, 1969
Lengthy letter of two pages - with deep Chidushei Torah and words on the virtue of studying Torah handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Gifter, the Rosh Yeshiva of Telz - Detroit, 1969.
The letter begins with excited words about the opening of Zman Elul of his yeshiva: "וכבר שבו בנים לגבולם לזמן האלול". Later, the Rosh Yeshiva explains at length the Sugyot of Dinei Eved and Shifcha. At the end of the letter, Rabbi Gifter writes to his disciple words of Hitorerut and Mussar for the study of the Torah: והנני לברכו בהצלחה מרובה בעמל התוה"ק אשר רק בזה מתדבק אדם למקור החיים הוא הבורא ברוך הוא, וכל הסר מעמלה של תורה, עליו נאמר וסרתם ועבדתם, ר"ל ובזכות עמלה של תורה יזכה לכתיבה וחתימה טובה...".
