Rare and Sacred: the Handwritten Signature of the Admor Rabbi Aharon Perlov of Koidinov: Divrei Shalom - Warsaw 1893

Sefer Divrei Shalom, section I, Drushim and Psahtim on the Torah, by Rabbi Yitzchak Adrabi author of Shut Divrei Rivot (a leading Rav of the 16th century), a disciple of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Taititzek, and containing novellae by him: "בהספר הזה מובא הרבה פשטים וחדושים מרבו מרן יוסף טייאטיצאק".


Fourth edition and the first after the 16th century - Warsaw 1893.  Two title pages. [2], 86 leaves. At its end, Kuntres Acharon and commentary on Megillat Ruth. New binding. Moth perforations and some moth damage. Some taping. Minor stains. Fair-good overall condition. 


On the title page, an ownership signature: "אהרן פערלאוו מקאידנאוו" - the Admor Rabbi Aharon Perlov of Koidinov (1839-1897) the son of the Admor Rabbi Baruch Mordechai of Koidinov. Headed the Kollel Koidinov in Eretz Yisrael. Published the book by Rabbi Moshe Cordovero, the Ramak, Or hane'erav with the addition of his glosses. Wrote the foreword of the Siddur of the Koidinov Chassidut. Some of his Divrei Torah were published after his passing in the book Zecher LeTzaddik.


On the flyleaf, an ownership stamp: "מנחם נחום ראבינאוויטש חתן אדמור שליטא מנהל הישיבה הק"תץ [הקדושה תומכי צדק, ישיבת חמיו] קיידנאוו פלך מינסק" - the Admor Rabbi Menachem Nachum Rabinowitz (1887-1959) the son of the Admor Rabbi Pinchas of Kantikoziva and son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Yosef Perlov of Koidinov (the son of the above Rabbi Aharon). Av Beit Din of Haifa. This stamp is from the time he served as Rosh Yeshiva of Tomchei Tzeddek Koidinov of his father-in-law. Some of his Divrei Torah were published in the book Machshevet Nachum.
