Famous work by Rabbeinu Yeshaya HaLevi Horwitz, Av Beit Din of Frankfurt. Early edition. At the end is an introduction to the book Vavei HaAmudim by the author’s son, Shabtai Horwitz of Pozna, with a separate cover printed during the author’s lifetime. Nuremberg 1762. Page numbering is messed up: [2], 421 [supposed to be 420], 8, 8-44 [supposed to be 36] pages. Stains and tape, cover is repaired but text is covered at the top, folds, light tears, old binding, leather spine, defects, generally ok to good condition. The back of the book has many notes and comments handwritten.
