Handwritten Shana Tova postcard from Dr. Josef Meisl, written to Professor Simon (Shimon) Dubnow, months prior to being killed in the Holocaust (in Riga). Sent from Palestine to Riga in 1941. Went past censorship (stamped). Written in pencil (most likely by Dubnow) that he received it, and included the date. One subtle stain but otherwise in very good condition.
