Rare historical broadside document highlighting the antisemitism that has persisted and continues to persist throughout history and beyond. The document, issued by the King of Sweden and Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel, Frederick I, calls for the expulsion of the Jews in the landgraviate of Hesse-Kassel, those without a writ of protection. Kassel, May 27, 1735. Text in German. Hand inscription on opposite side. In double sided glass frame. 35cm x 21cm. Framed: 52cm x 42cm. In good condition. Fold signs. Some light age stains. This is an important historical document fit for a museum or any historian/collector, wanting to preserve the past as proof of the ways Jews were treated throughout the world, throughout history.
