Three newspapers covering the coronation of Queen Elizabeth: 1. The Times: Wednesday, June 3, 1953 (London) 2. News Chronicle: Wednesday, June 3, 1953 - Coronation Number. "Both Happy and Glorious" 3. New York Herald Tribune: Wednesday, June 3, 1953 (Paris). "Queen is Crowned at Westminster Abbey". (Stamped: "By Air"). All of the newspaper have articles and many large pictures covering the coronation (as well as other news articles). One piece of paper (which is 4 pages: 5,6 and 19, 20) missing. Including in this lot is a booklet: "Gateway to Windsor Castle", which explains the history, the grounds and all the set up of Windsor Castle (photo of Queen Elizabeth on inside cover).
