Uncommon carved wood maternity figure with child. Dyonyeni tribe. Good age; 27in.H. x 6in.W.
Condition: Part 1 of several sales to offer contents of Clinton Mass “The Gallery of African Art†, the now closed museum founded by Gordon Lankton. Being sold without reserves in several sessions over the next few months. More than 700 lots from 32 West African tribes will be included.
