Banana Liqueur from the Pure Table of Rabbi Aharon of Belz
In a large, elegant bottle into which was poured Banana liqueur from a botlle given by Rabbi Aharon of Belz to one of his relatives.
The Rav of Belz was known to favor the banana liqueur made in Eretz Yisroel and used to call it "Peiros Eretz Yisroel" (the fruit of Eretz Yisroel) since at the time, it was the only liqueur produced from the fruit of Eretz Yisroel; he used to bless Lechaim on this liqueur only.
He used to praise the fruit of Eretz Yisroel and their virtue and silenced those who did not acknowledge their importance.
The fruit of Eretz Yisroel are 'beautiful, sweet and large' he told a person who belittled them.
The Admor the Shefa Chaim of Sanz recalled that when he came to Eretz Yisrael, the Admor of Belz told him that the banana liqueur was "סאיז גוט" (it's good) and even since, he too used to say Lechaim on it.
Professionally sealed botlle.
