The first book printed for She'erit Hapletah. Sha'agat Aryeh - Munich, 1947.
Sha'agat Aryeh published by Vaad Hahatzalah, the first book that was published in Germany by the Vaad after the Holocaust. In their foreword, the printers write: "חסרון הספר לעם הספר בגרמניה, עורר לנו לגשת להדפיס ספרים הנחוצים לבני הישיבות... הספר הראשון אשר עלה בידינו... להוציא לאור זה הוא הספר יקר הערך שאגת אריה...".
Fine, original burgundy binding with gilt lettering.
The first leaf (before the title page) is missing.
Good condition.
