Shivim Tikunei Hazohar, Amsterdam, 1706 - Sabbatean title page
Sefer Shivim Tikunei Hazohar, authored by the Divine Tana rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, with the Chemdat Zvi commentary by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch ben Rabbi Yerachmiel Chotsh.
On the title page, an impressive illustration of two deers holding a crown with the inscription ה' צבאות לעטרת צבי ולצפירת תפארה" [a Sabbatean symbol. See: A. Yaari, Diglei Hamadpisim HaIvriyim, p. 57 and pp. 154-155]. However, others claim that the deer merely implies the printer's name "Zvi Hirsch".
The author of the book was suspected to be a Sabbatean and the Yavetz objected to him and his book.
With important approbations including by Rabbi Naftali Hacohen Katz author of the Semichat Chachamim. Yet, in a foreword to another edition of Tikueni hazohar, Rabbi Naftali Katz wrote that he retracted his approbation.
